Dr. Kim’s journey in dentistry is truly inspiring. He embodies the philosophy that a smile can significantly enhance one’s life and self-esteem. Graduating at the top of his class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine showcases his dedication and expertise in the field. His extended training at Bellevue Hospital Center further solidified his skills, particularly in dental surgery and complex cases, making him well-versed in advanced dental procedures.
Dr. Kim’s commitment to education is evident through his teaching roles at Bellevue, NYU, and Hiossen Implant Company, where he shares his knowledge of implant dentistry with aspiring and practicing dentists. Additionally, Dr. Kim is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements by heavily investing in digital dentistry. His practice is fully equipped with the latest digital technology, allowing for accurate diagnoses and efficient treatment planning. By utilizing cutting-edge tools such as digital imaging, 3D printing, and computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), he enhances the precision and quality of care he provides to his patients. Dr. Jonathan Wu was born in Virginia and lived in Tokyo for 10 years prior to returning to the States. Dr. Wu graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Biology and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Howard University in Washington DC. Upon graduation, he was inducted to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society that recognizes those with exceptional grades. He then moved to New York City, where he completed further training at Bellevue Hospital’s General Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Wu is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese and is acknowledged as a compassionate and reliable dentist among his colleagues. He offers a wide range of dental services in general dentistry, implant placement, and cosmetic work.. He always ensures his patients’ concerns are addressed, and offers solutions catered to each individual. He strives to create a comfortable setting for his patients and relieves anxiety to those who may have dental phobia. During his spare time, he enjoys cooking, weightlifting, trying new restaurants, and watching movies and TV shows.

Dr. Zhang earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. During her studies, she was elected as the Class President and the Executive President of the Dental Students’ Society. For demonstrating outstanding qualities of leadership, scholarship, and professional achievements throughout four years of her program, she was awarded the Dr. James McCutcheon Medal and American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award. She then moved to New York and pursued her postdoctoral residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NY-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Zhang is a compassionate and quality-oriented provider who enjoys all aspects of dentistry. With her attention to details, she is committed to providing you with the best possible care and comfort. She loves to empower her patients and help them better understand their oral health. Dr. Zhang strives for excellence and actively seeks continuing education at prestigious institutions such as Spear Education.
Outside of private practice, Dr. Zhang also takes on the role of Adjunct Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry where she teaches predoctoral student dentists. She is proud to instill the highest clinical and ethical standards of care into the future of the dental profession.
Dr. Zhang is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Zhang is proficient in English, Mandarin, and French.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zhang enjoys taking her Shiba Inu for a stroll in the park with her baby girl. She loves travelling and exploring new restaurants and patisseries.
Restorative Dentist
Dr. Raysa Perez first discovered her passion for dentistry fairly early, when she started a position as a dental assistant at the age of 17 in her home country, the Dominican Republic. That summer, her mother was involved in a serious car accident, and it affected her mother’s confidence and self esteem. As her mother underwent treatment, Dr. Perez was both a witness and participant to the magical transformation that returned the smile to her mother’s face. It was during this time when she realized that dentistry was the profession she wanted to pursue. It was an extraordinary place where art and science converged to change lives. In 2004 she completed the dental program and was honored to work side by side with the peers she had admired, in the office where her journey began.
Dr. Perez moved to the United States to begin a new journey; the passion to continue her career required resilience as she adapted to a new culture and language. She was determined to remain a dentist, but knew she would need to earn accreditation all over again in her new home country. After an arduous period of studying, she passed the National Boards. She was subsequently accepted to Columbia University, where she completed her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is delighted to continue her journey as a dentist with the wonderful team at Madison Dental Loft.
In her personal time, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an active member in her church community. She is very thankful that she can fulfill her calling to serve others through her profession role as a dentist.
